I particularly enjoyed the story of artists J.S.G. Boggs. His realistic drawings actually pay the bills that all struggling artist/ people in general are faced with. The small changes that he made to the bills themselves such as "J.S.G. Boggs Secretary of the Measury" gives him a right to call it his own and escape the IRS of counterfit money. Also the concept that the demand for this works art is high and the supply is low, makes for a very successful artist. By documenting the process he takes, he backs up his own story with an actual physical recipet and change paid back. This process of documenting was also evident in the Christo and Jeanne-Claude story which has forced me to start thinking about how my own work could be documented and possibly a new opportunity for revenue.
Example of Boggs creation and work process
